FYI…from Kaite Burkholder  – See below about disposable cameras for use by
people who experience poverty in their daily lives, and would like to
express their thoughts about poverty, through photography.  (There is a
limit of 25 people, so first come, first serve.)

Hello Everyone ­ – Below and attached is a flyer for the opportunity to
participate in a photography exhibit that raises awareness about local
poverty.  It's short notice, but if there are people who might be
interested, please pass this information along to them. 

URBAN EYES

PHOTOS BY PEOPLE THAT MATTER

WHAT: Amnesty International Canada has created an international
awareness-raising campaign called Small Places to celebrate the 60th
anniversary of the Declaration of Human Rights.  All over the world, arts
events are happening to draw attention to human rights issues.

La Petite Mort Gallery is hosting a photography exhibit using the photos
taken by people experiencing poverty in their daily lives as well as several
local professional photographers.  All the photos will be taken with a
disposable camera. The exhibit will debut on November 29, and run until
December 4, at La Petite Mort Gallery

WHO: People who experience poverty in their daily lives, and would like to
express their thoughts about poverty, through photography.  (There is a
limit of 25 people, so first come, first serve.

WHEN:  Pick up your disposable camera from La Petite Mort Gallery on Friday
November 7th, or Saturday, November 8th if you're interested

WHERE: La Petite Mort Gallery 306 Cumberland
