Stuart Peterson Research Position

 

Family Services à la famille Ottawa (FSFO) is seeking applications from
qualified individuals to conduct the 2008-09 Stuart Peterson Research
Project. This project was inaugurated in 2007 with an endowment from an
anonymous donour (Stuart Peterson is a fictitious name). Each year the
project conducts original research on a specified topic relevant to the work
of FSFO.

 

Status 

Part time – approximately 250 hours ending Spring 2009, flexible schedule,
Non-union .

Reporting to Executive Director FSFO or designate

 

Purpose

To research, assess, analyze and prepare an original research paper
concerning; “The efficacy and application of self monitoring techniques and
tools in a broad range of counseling and psycho-educational applications
relevant to the work conducted at FSFO”.

 

Qualifications 

Currently enrolled as a graduate student in social sciences and humanities.

Demonstrated experience and interest in the selected topic.

Exceptional research and analytical skills.

Exceptional computers skills in Word, Excel, and web-based research.

Bilingualism an asset

Diversity welcome

 

Salary  

$20 - $22 per hour, depending on experience
