This questionnaire has been drafted by Somerset West Community Health
Centre (SWCHC) for response by candidates of the main parties
(Conservative, Liberal, New Democrat and Green) running for election in
the riding of Ottawa-Centre during the 2008 federal election.  SWCHC is
located within this riding and provides health, community and social
services to tens of thousands of Ottawa residents each year. SWCHC
advocates in a strictly non-partisan manner on a wide variety of
concerns affecting health, including access to primary care, affordable
housing, the amelioration of poverty, food security, and other issues. 
As such, SWCHC will not endorse any candidate but rather post your
responses on our website to provide our clients and concerned citizens
with useful information to assist them in making their decision
concerning whom to vote for in this election. We will also circulate
your responses within our Ottawa Centre Networks. Accordingly, we
request that you provide answers to the following questions no later
than 12 noon on Friday, October 10.  Please send all your responses to
Eugene Williams, Health Promotion Coordinator at ewilliam at swchc.on.ca We
