Attention Affordable Housing Supporters:

 

On Sunday please call in to the Gerry Cammy show on CFRA 580 on whether the
city is doing enough on affordable housing. The show runs from 5 to 7:00 pm.


 

Their website shows the call in phone # as 615-521-8255 but Prof. Cammy will
announce it too.

 

He’s read the 2008 Report Card on Ending Homelessness and has invited us to
encourage people to call in. Here’s your chance to help with media work by
talking about how essential it is that Ottawa create more affordable
housing. 

 

>From 5-6 pm he interviews guests, and from 6-7 pm he takes calls.

 

The Alliance has arranged 2 guests on the show:

 

Marion Wright, Vice Chair of the Alliance to End Homelessness

Fran Klodawsky, Chair of the Alliance’s Research and Evaluation Working
Group (it produces the report card). Fran sits on the Board of the
Multifaith Housing Initiative in addition to teaching at Carleton University

 

Prof. Cammy has also invited Pete Cassidy from Jewish Family Services and a
young outreach worker (JFS Street Smarts Outreach).
