A Taste For Life, Ottawa's premier dining event is excited to announce that
on April 29, 2009 close to 50 Ottawa restaurants are helping to raise money
to support men, women and children affected by HIV/AIDS in our community.  A
romantic dinner for two, an opportunity for dining with friends and family
or colleagues from your workplace, club or sports team or to celebrate an
anniversary or birthday, what better excuse could you have for a
get-together than knowing 25% of all your bills will be donated to fighting
AIDS. You'll be treating yourselves, and helping to show that Ottawa cares
about HIV/AIDS.

participating restaurant.  If you're having a difficult time deciding which
of the nearly 50 restaurants to dine at, consider joining A Taste For Life
hosts Jay Koornstra, Executive Director of Bruce House and Richard Cliff of
the National Arts Centre English Theatre at the Pelican Fishery & Grill.

 

The Pelican Fishery & Grill is a small and unassuming seafood restaurant
attached to one of Ottawa's better fish markets. The food is outstanding,
fresh, tasty and, well presented. The menu although not large offers a tasty
and fine selection of seafood and there are always a few daily specials to
tempt your taste buds.  Wine and beer list only.  (A sample menu is
attached).

 

Although the restaurant is smallish, everything about the Pelican is grand!
Reservations are strongly suggested to avoid disappointment.  Richard and
