Subject: Fall 2009 Family group details - Royal Ottawa Mental Health Centre
Please find attached a schedule for the family education series and the coping with mental illness family information and support group, as well as a list of topics for the latter group.    These two family groups are open to family members of those with mental illness,  and are offered as a hospital and community service (ie participants do not have to be affiliated with our hospital).

As you will note there are two options for families.  One is an education series of four Monday evenings, facilitated by Amanda Telford and Donna Horner, and the other is an ongoing coping with mental illness group which meets on the first and third Tuesdays of the month, facilitated by Siovone Bourgeois, Stephanie Brooks, Emily Deacon and Virginia Lafond.  There is no cost for the groups but participants are encouraged to call/register in advance.
