Finding a place, space, for community activities is a constant headache for
community groups in Ottawa.  Come and learn more about a group trying to do
something about that!  Working in collaboration with Social Planning Toronto
since 2000, the SPACE Coalition is a strategic outreach and action research
coalition based on the belief that community use of public space is a
cornerstone of healthy neighbourhoods and communities.  SPACE seeks to play
a leadership role in providing maximum community use of public space across
Ontario, particularly in schools, through affordable, equitable, and
