Hello Lynne,

 

Please allow me to introduce myself.  I am a Master of Social Work student
working with Laurel Rothman at National Campaign 2000.  As you know we are
finalizing event planning around the launch of our National Report Card on
November 24th, marking the shameful fact that twenty years have passed since
the all party resolution to end child poverty in Canada by the year 2000 was
signed with little meaningful progress towards this goal.

 

Nov. 24th is our Day of Action which will include a rally around the
Centennial Flame of Parliament Hill at 9:00 AM.  I have attached a flyer for
the rally.  Would it be possible for you to circulate this flyer among your
listservs, and/or make an announcement at the Community Forum on
Homelessness on Monday Nov. 23rd.
