On behalf of the Community Foundation of Ottawa, I am pleased to send you an
electronic copy of Ottawa’s Vital Signs® 2009 – our own unique annual report
card created to assess the broad health of this community. This report
contains compelling information on eleven key areas affecting the quality of
life for citizens, including education, the income gap between Ottawa’s rich
and poor, environment, health, safety and getting around. This is our fourth
report and we will be publishing a similar report each fall.

It is our hope that Ottawa’s Vital Signs will bring added value to your work
