In early December, the Commission that regulates television will begin the
process that decides the fate of local stations in Canada. 

 

Now we must turn to you again in our most urgent and important appeal ever.
We believe the survival of CTV Ottawa and local stations across Canada
depends on this next phase of the process.

 

What we are looking for is the right to negotiate fair value for our product
with the cable and satellite companies. We want you to get the services we
believe you already pay for. 

 

Below, I've outlined a number of options for you to let the CRTC know just
how important a service we provide to this community. We are asking you to
take action as soon as possible. And please, forward to anyone who cares
about saving local television.

 

.         Interventions must be submitted to the Secretary General of the
CRTC BY  NOVEMBER 2, 2009 , and can be submitted by:
