Hello everyone,

 

The Epidemiology Section and the Sexual Health Unit invite you to attend a discussion of the findings from the Enhanced Street Youth Surveillance (E-SYS) study on Tuesday August 31st from 9:30am to 11:30am at 179 Clarence St. 

 

E-SYS is an enhanced sentinel surveillance system that monitors sexually-transmitted and blood borne infections (STBBIs), methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), risk behaviours, and sexual healthcare seeking behaviours among street-involved youth.  Administered in several sites across Canada since its initiation by PHAC in 1998, data collection for Ottawa's 6th phase of the study was completed in the fall of 2009.
