EASTERN ONTARIO AREA ACCREDITED SMOKING CESSATION TRAINING, OTTAWA, OCTOBER 2010 (TEACH PROJECT)

 

This training session is for all health professionals who offer or who plan to offer smoking cessation counseling services. Both English and French courses are offered.

      

When?   

Oct 18-20, 2010  -  Core Course - A Comprehensive Course on Smoking Cessation: Skills and Strategies

 

Oct 21-22, 2010  -  Specialty Course  - Helping Pregnant Smokers Stop Smoking: An Interactive Case-Based Course  

 

Where?  Sheraton Hotel, 150 Albert St., Ottawa, ON 

 

Cost: $150.00 

 

This administration fee covers both the Core and Specialty courses, lunch and all training materials.

 

Travel and accommodation costs may be covered by the Ministry of Health Promotion for individuals travelling further than 60 kilometres (one way travel). Please refer to the attachment for more information.

COURS AGRÉÉS SUR L'ARRÊT DU TABABISME À OTTAWA EN OCTOBRE 2010 (PROJET TEACH) 

 

Pour qui ? Tous les professionnels de la santé qui offrent ou comptent offrir des services de counseling d'arrêt au tabagisme. Les cours sont offerts en français  et en anglais. 

 

Quand ? 

du 18 au 20 octobre : Cours de base - Cours sur l'arrêt du tabagisme : Compétences et stratégies essentielles

du 21 au 22 octobre : Cours spécialisé  - Prévention intégrée des maladies chroniques : Aborder les facteurs de risque

 

Lieu : Hôtel Sheraton, 150 rue Albert, Ottawa (ON) 

 

Frais : 150 $ 

 

Droits d'inscription au cours de base et au cours spécialisé, dîners et matériel de formation compris.
