Happy New Year!

 

This is a message to confirm that the first meeting of the Youth Joint
Action Team of the Ottawa Coalition on HIV/AIDS will be on Monday January
25th at 10:00-11:30 (the location is yet to be determined).

 

The idea of the YouthJAT is to promote dialogue about issues impacting youth
when it comes to HIV prevention, treatment, care and support.

 

Everyone is welcome to attend this meeting to network, share ideas and
promote resources!!

 

We will collectively set the agenda at our first meeting, but some ideas of
current issues include supporting the transition to adult services,
coordinating services for young gay men in the city, the effect of Bill C15
on youth specifically, supporting young women in Ottawa, etc.
