Subject: May 2 Justice Walk

 

A special appeal to all supporters of the Elizabeth Fry Society of Ottawa:

 

It is with enthusiasm that I write to you again today with more details on
our upcoming fundraising event in 2010.  In 2010, we will continue with our
mission of assisting some of the most vulnerable women and youth in our
community - those who have been criminalized, or are at risk of becoming
criminalized.  And, we cannot continue to do this work without you.   Your
support and continued involvement in our work is so important!

 

The Elizabeth Fry Society of Ottawa will host its first ever fundraising
walk on Sunday, May 2, 2010 at Mooney's Bay Park in Ottawa. Supporters along
with colleagues, friends and family will converge on Mooney's Bay for a
scenic 3.5 km walk.  The walk will start at 1:00 pm.   Situated in a one of
the nicest park settings in Ottawa, there will also be face painting and
other recreational activities for kids to enjoy up until 4:00 pm. 

 

It will be a fun afternoon and surely one you won't want to miss!  We hope
that you, your family and friends will be able to join us on May 2nd to help
us in meeting our fundraising needs for 2010.
