[homeles_ot-l] Panelists needed: in Montreal - National forum on intervention in homelessness

Hello all,

 

The National forum on intervention in homelessness will occur in Montréal at the end of the month (October 29/30).

 

The organizers are still looking for a few panelists to speak on the following two topics: 

 

1 - Challenges of co-morbidity issues - on Friday, October 29th, from 3 pm to 5:30 pm.

-        Concurrent disorder as an intervention challenge. 

-        Borderline personality disorder, drug addiction, physical and mental health.

-        Complexity of the intervention plan. 

-        Difficulties to establish trust and make it last. 

-        Complex situations and lack of marks for practitioners. Continuity or collaboration of services?

 

2 - Using art in intervention - on Saturday, October 30th, from 9:30 am to noon.

-        Using art as a lever to support recovery of homeless people. 

-        Purpose of the use of art: therapy, speaking, solidarity development, work, etc.
