Subject: Dave Bidini on the Homeless World Cup of Soccer

Hello - Kate Hunt here from the Ottawa International Writers Festival.
I'm writing because we have an event coming up that I think would
interest you and your membership, and I was hoping you could help spread
the word by posting this on your calendar or passing it along.

On Tuesday, Oct 26 at noon, we're featuring a talk with Dave Bidini and
John Doyle, called "Having a Ball." Both writers will be talking about
soccer and its impact: Dave Bidini, in particular, will be talking about
his experiences traveling with Team Canada to the Homeless World Cup
(http://www.homelessworldcup.org/), a unique organization that creates
an international soccer tournament in an effort to fight homelessness.

The talk will be at the Ottawa Public Library Auditorium, and tickets
are $10/$5. More info is available at our website at
