PUT THE COMMUNITY BACK INTO OUR UNITED WAY

 Attend the United Way Ottawa AGM

Tuesday, June 21, 4:00 pm

RA Centre,  2451 Riverside Drive

(near Billings Bridge Plaza)

 

Our local United Way has a key role to play in the health of our
communities. As United Way members, we all have a responsibility to make
sure it functions effectively. Join with community organizations and
individuals in supporting a motion at the UWO AGM.  See attached the
document of community concerns and the motion to address these concerns. You
can also vote for  the board members who will address these concerns.

Who can attend the AGM?

Anyone who has contributed a minimum of $20 since the last AGM is a member.
Also, an agency currently receiving funds can send two of their Board
members.

If I have not donated this year, how do I donate?

You may donate by a credit card by visiting  <http://www.unitedwayottawa.ca>

How do I attend?

You will need to pre-register by calling 613-228-6721 by Monday, June 20 at
12 pm.  

Location:  RA Centre, 2451 Riverside Drive

Take the bus to Billings Bridge and walk over to the RA Centre.

Arrive early to be sure you get a seat.

How do I prove I am a member at the AGM?

Bring the receipt of your donation and a photo ID.  If donating on line, you
will receive an electronic receipt, print it.  If you donated in 2010, you
can bring the tax receipt you will have received or the 2010 T4 with proof
of charitable donation.
