Attend the United Way Ottawa AGM

Tuesday, June 21, 3:30 PM Registration

Hellenic Meeting and Reception Centre,  1315 Prince of Wales (changed venue)

 

Correction:  There are no longer votes for board members of funded agencies.
Only by donating do you become a voting member.  See details below.

 

Our United Way has a key role to play in the health of our communities. As
United Way members, we all have a responsibility to make sure it functions
effectively. Join with community organizations and individuals in supporting
a motion at the UWO AGM to make it more effective.  See attached our
concerns,  the motion to be presented and the bios of our Board candidates
who are well-equipped to help improve this important institution of our
City.

 

 

Who can attend the AGM?

Anyone who has contributed a minimum of $20 since the last AGM is an
individual member. (Correction: There are no longer member agency votes.)

How do I attend?

You will need to pre-register by calling 613-228-6721 by Monday, June 20 at
12 pm.

How do I prove I am a member?

Bring the receipt of your donation and a photo ID.  If donating on line, you
will receive an electronic receipt, print it.  If you donated in 2010, you
can bring the tax receipt you will have received or the 2010 T4 with proof
of charitable donation.

 

Spread the word. We need you to help put the community back into United Way.
