Minwaashin Lodge-The Aboriginal Women's Support Centre annually hosts a camping weekend for women, aged 16 and up.
The event will begin on Friday May 13 and spaces remain for those interested in escaping the city for a weekend in cabins by the river!
This is a low cost event with sponsorships available.
A holistic women's event that will include;

*         Cabin accommodations for all attendees

*         Aboriginal teachings including sweatlodge teachings, crafts and giveaway

*         Holistic and educational workshops that explore topics such as traditional medicines, women's health, effects of Colonization, and the importance of connecting with our sisters in the community.

Bring your sisters, your girlfriends, aunties, daughters, mothers, and grandmothers! Whether you are looking to enhance your knowledge of Aboriginal culture or simply take some time for yourself-this is not an event to be missed!
