CAWI is pleased to offer this exciting new training program so as to create
a network of facilitators who can support positive change in community
organizations.  

Participants will learn skills to facilitate and enhance inclusive planning
and decision making. 

Training Program to include: 

·      6 full-day workshops 

·      Practicum experience by facilitating a change process in a community
organization

·      Support of a professional facilitator

·      Bilingual training material with French translation support.

·      Childcare and transportation costs covered, if needed.

Participants will be:

·      20 women from diverse backgrounds, including women with disabilities,
francophone women, Aboriginal women, racialized women and recent immigrants
with prior facilitation experience (6 spaces are reserved for women whose
participation can be subsidized by their employer at a rate of $200 to
$1000).

·      Due to limited space, participants will be selected. Potential
participants apply by submitting the attached application form by May 16th.
Selected applicants will be contacted for an interview before May 30th (see
attached application).

C’est avec plaisir que l’IVTF annonce ce nouveau programme de formation
stimulant, qui a pour but de créer un réseau de « facilitatrices » pouvant
favoriser le changement positif dans les organisations communautaires.

Les participantes acquerront des compétences leur permettant de faciliter et
d'améliorer la planification et la prise de décision. 

Le programme de formation inclura : 

·      Six ateliers d’une journée  

·      Des travaux pratiques sous forme de facilitation d’un processus de
changement au sein d’une organisation communautaire

·      Le soutien d’une facilitatrice professionnelle

·      Du matériel didactique bilingue et une assistance pour la traduction
en français

·      Le remboursement des coûts de la garde d’enfants et du transport, au
besoin.

La composition du groupe :

·      Le groupe sera composé de vingt femmes provenant d’horizons divers, y
compris des femmes handicapées, des femmes francophones, des femmes
autochtones, des femmes racialisées et des nouvelles immigrantes avec
expérience en facilitation (six places sont réservées pour des femmes dont
la participation peut être subventionnée par leur employeur, à raison de 200
$ à 1000 $).

·      En raison du nombre limité de places, nous procéderons à une
sélection des participantes. Pour soumettre leur candidature, les
participantes potentielles doivent soumettre le formulaire ci-joint au plus
tard le 16 mai 2011. Nous communiquerons avec les candidates sélectionnées
pour les convoquer à une entrevue avant le 30 mai 2011. (Voir le formulaire
en pièce jointe.)
