Memorandum

The Board of directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Céline Carrière as the new Executive Director of CHASEO, effective January 23rd, 2012.

Ms. Carrière is an active member of the CHASEO Education Team, and has been deeply involved in the Co-op Housing sector in recent years, both at a board and professional level.  Since 2009, she has worked with L. Simpson Management Services providing management services to housing co-ops.  She has served on the founding board of directors for McLean Co-operative Homes, and is a current board member of Coopérative d'habitation Jeanneville and Rooftops Canada.  Céline is fluently bilingual and holds a bachelors degree from the University of Ottawa in Communications and English Literature.

Ms. Carrière will be replacing acting Managing Director Mary Ann Schwering.  The Board wishes to thank Ms. Schwering for her dedication and hard work in the past year, and wishes her all the best in her future endeavors.

The Board of CHASEO wish you a wonderful International Year of Co-operatives, and look forward to providing you with excellent service in 2012 and beyond.  Please join us in congratulating Céline Carrière and in wishing her success in her new position.

Le Conseil d'administration est fier d'annoncer la nomination de Céline Carrière au poste de Directrice générale de l'AHCEO, et cela à partir du 23 janvier 2012.

Mlle Carrière est une membre active de l'équipe de formation de l'AHCEO et elle est très impliquée dans le secteur de l'habitation coopérative depuis quelques années, tant sur le Conseil que sur le plan professionnel. Depuis 2009, elle travaille au sein de L. Simpson Management Services où elle fournit des services de gestion aux coopératives d'habitation. Elle a siégé le conseil d'administration fondateur de la McLean Co-operative Homes et elle est actuellement membre des conseils d'administration de la Coopérative d'habitation Jeanneville et d'Abri international. Céline est entièrement bilingue et elle détient un baccalauréat en communication et en littérature anglaise de l'Université d'Ottawa. 

Mlle Carrière remplacera la Directrice générale par intérim, Mary Ann Schwering. Le Conseil d'administration tient à remercier Mme Schwering de son dévouement et de l'excellent travail qu'elle a fait au sein de l'AHCEO au cours de la dernière année et nous lui souhaitons le plus grand succès dans ses projets futurs.

Le Conseil de l'AHCEO vous souhaite une merveilleuse Année internationale des coopératives et nous sommes impatients d'avoir l'occasion de vous offrir d'excellents services en 2012 et pour les années suivantes. Veuillez vous joindre à nous pour féliciter Céline Carrière et lui souhaiter succès dans ses nouvelles fonctions.
