Overwhelming Support for CHRA's Policy to End Youth Homelessness

At its Annual Congress in May 2012 in St John's, the Canadian Housing &
Renewal Association (CHRA) launched "Ending Youth Homelessness: A CHRA
Policy Statement".  The

28&id=02f44b558f&e=4fd1966bbe>  policy includes recommendations for action
which would prevent and end homelessness among young people.  

Following the launch, we asked you to support the policy statement.  We
wanted to show decision-makers just how many people and organizations, along
with CHRA, demand to see every young person in Canada safely housed. The
response was overwhelming; we have received over a thousand endorsements.
Many endorsements came from organizations who themselves represent other
organizations, coalitions, associations, and individuals, as well as from
those that work with tenant households and vulnerable young people.  Thank
you for your support!
