DESCRIPTION DES FONCTIONS : 


Accueillir, informer et évaluer les besoins des individus qui demandent les
services d’Action-Logement pour des problèmes de logement et/ou pour la
recherche d’un logement, et ceci dans les deux langues officielles. Assumer
le service de l’accueil et ouvrir les dossiers de la clientèle. Assumer les
dossiers sommaires.


EXPÉRIENCE ET ÉTUDES :


§  Baccalauréat en service social ou dans un domaine pertinent ou scolarité
et formation équivalentes.


§  Expérience en intervention avec personnes vulnérables.


§  Connaissance de la prestation des services sociaux et du logement social
à Ottawa.

§  Très bonne capacité de communication orale et écrite en français et en
anglais 

§  Bon sens de l’organisation et d’initiative

§  Aptitude à travailler en équipe

 

ÉCHELLE SALARIALE :                      De 37 153 $ à 46 125 $, en fonction
de l’expérience

HORAIRE DE TRAVAIL :                   35 heures par semaine

                                                         8h30 à 12h00 et de
13h00 à 16h30 

                                                         Lundi au vendredi.

Intake Worker


Full-time position

Fixed-term contract: Maternity leave replacement


 


JOB DESCRIPTION: 


Receive new clients and inform them about Action Housing’s services in both
official languages. Perform detailed interviews. Identify and evaluate
housing issues. Provide assistance with housing search. Open files for new
clients and complete summary files. 


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE


§  Degree in social work or in another relevant field, or equivalent
education and experience.


§  Experience working with vulnerable persons.


§  Knowledge of social housing and social services in Ottawa. 

§  Very good ability to communicate orally and in writing in French and in
English.

§  Displays initiative and ability to prioritise work.

§  Strong teamwork skills.

REMUNERATION:                            From $37,153 to $46,125, based on
experience

WORK SCHEDULE:                           35 hours per week

                                                         Monday to Friday 

                                                         8:30 to 12:00 and
13:00 to 16:30
