United Way Ottawa and Volunteer Ottawa are proud to present Community Action Days 2013
Thursday, December 5
 
Community Action Days connect workplace teams with community organizations, enabling them to work together and take action on a volunteer project.

Deadline for project submissions is Friday, November 15 2013

 

Community organizations gain the enthusiastic help of volunteers for a special project and the opportunity to share their stories about what they do and why it’s important.  Workplace volunteers get the chance to donate their time, skills and efforts to help a community organization and a wonderful teambuilding experience.
 
The volunteer opportunities can be varied and fulfilling – from serving meals to seniors to helping out with a special event, painting or cleaning up a youth centre, beautifying a park, planting a new garden, providing professional business services and so much more.

Centraide Ottawa et Bénévoles Ottawa sont heureux de présenter les Journées d’action communautaire 2013
Le jeudi 5 décembre 2013

Les Journées d’action communautaire rassemblent les équipes et les organismes communautaires, leur permettant de travailler ensemble et d’organiser un projet bénévole.

La date d’échéance pour la soumission de projets est le vendredi 15 novembre 2013
 
 
Les organismes communautaires reçoivent l’aide précieuse des bénévoles pour un projet spécial et l’occasion de partager leurs histoires concernant ce qu’ils font et pourquoi c’est important.  Les bénévoles des milieux de travail on l’occasion de donner leur temps, d’inculquer leurs habiletés et de déployer leurs efforts pour aider un organisme communautaire et participer à une belle expérience de travail d’équipe.
 
Les occasions bénévoles peuvent être variées et satisfaisantes – de servir des repas aux aînés à aider lors d’un événement spécial, à peinturer ou nettoyer un centre pour les jeunes, à nettoyer un parc, à semer un nouveau jardin, à fournir des services d’affaires professionnels, et beaucoup plus.
