INVESTMENT IN AFFORDABLE HOUSING (IAH) FOR ONTARIO PROGRAM AND 2014 ACTION OTTAWA REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

The Housing Services Branch will release a Request for Proposals (RFP) for 2014 to develop affordable rental housing dwelling units under Action Ottawa and the IAH Program.

The intent of this RFP is to allocate up to $6M in 2014 funding to facilitate the first phase of development of affordable housing at 455 Via Verona in the Longfields subdivision.

The RFP is tentatively scheduled to be released and available on July 3rd, 2014, and to close at 4:00pm on Wednesday, October 15th, 2014.

A public information session to present the details of the RFP process and to answer questions will take place on:

July 9th, 2014, from 1:00pm to 4:00pm, in the Chamber Boardroom at Ben Franklin Place, 101 Centrepointe Drive.

Attendance and registration at the information session is mandatory for proponents who wish to submit a proposal. A minimum of one person on a proponent team or agency will need to attend. Please confirm your attendance by sending an email to affordablehousingunit at ottawa.ca<mailto:affordablehousingunit at ottawa.ca>.  Should you not be able to attend the information session on July 9th, please send an email to the above address indicating that you cannot attend.  We will schedule a second session and advise accordingly.

PROGRAMME D’INVESTISSEMENT DANS LE LOGEMENT ABORDABLE DE L’ONTARIO ET DEMANDE DE PROPOSITION D’ACTION OTTAWA 2014

La Direction des services de logement diffusera une Demande de proposition pour 2014 afin de développer des unités d’habitation locatives à prix abordable sous Action Ottawa et le Programme d’investissement dans le logement abordable.

L’objectif de cette Demande de proposition est d’allouer jusqu’à 6 millions de dollars en financement pour 2014 afin de faciliter le développement de logements abordables de la parcelle de terrain au 455, via Verona du plan de lotissement Longfields.

On estime pouvoir diffuser la Demande de proposition et la rendre disponible le jeudi 3 juillet 2014; la date de clôture sera le mercredi 15 octobre 2014, à 16 h.

Une séance d’information publique aura lieu pour présenter les détails entourant le processus de la Demande de proposition et répondre aux questions.

Mercredi 9 juillet 2014, de 13 h 00 à 15 h 00, dans la salle Chambers à la place Ben Franklin, 101, promenade Centrepointe.

La participation et l’inscription à la séance d’information sont obligatoires pour toutes les personnes souhaitant présenter une proposition. Veuillez confirmer votre présence par courriel à affordablehousingunit at ottawa.ca<mailto:affordablehousingunit at ottawa.ca>. S’il vous est impossible d’assister à la séance d’information du 9 juillet, veuillez nous le faire savoir en envoyant un courriel à la même adresse.
