MHCC Webinar – Putting the Housing in Housing First
The Mental Health Commission of Canada (MHCC) is hosting a series of free webinars on Housing First (HF) in the context of its Training and Technical Assistance program. The first webinar (English only) will take place on Friday, November 14, 2014 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. (ET). A recording will be available on the MHCC website in December 2014 along with the PowerPoint presentation.

This webinar will guide participants in the process of securing housing, building and maintaining relationships with landlords, and providing ongoing housing support to both tenants and landlords in the HF program. It is designed for people working in the area of HF: frontline staff, housing specialists, agency directors and managers, and others.

Webinaire de la CSMC – Construire les fondations de « Logement d’abord »
La Commission de la santé mentale du Canada (CSMC) sera l’hôte d’une série de webinaires offerts gratuitement sur l’approche « Logement d’abord » dans le cadre de son programme de formation et d’assistance technique. Le premier webinaire (en anglais seulement) sera diffusé le vendredi 14 novembre 2014 de 13 h à 14 h 15 (HE). L’enregistrement ainsi que les présentations PowerPoint du webinaire seront disponibles sur le site Web de la CSMC en décembre 2014.
Ce webinaire guidera les participants dans le processus de recherche de logements, dans le développement et le maintien de relations avec les propriétaires ainsi que dans le soutien offert aux locataires et aux propriétaires dans le cadre d’un programme « Logement d’abord ». Il est particulièrement destiné aux personnes travaillant dans un environnement de type « Logement d’abord » : intervenants de première ligne, spécialistes du logement ainsi que les gestionnaires et directeurs d’agences et autres parties intéressées.
