Community Debrief and Call to Action

April 23, 2015

 

After surveying at 30 locations across the city, the Alliance to End
Homelessness will hold a Community Debrief (report back) to share findings
from the 20,000 Homes survey and launch a community-wide Call to Action to
permanently house Ottawa’s most vulnerable homeless.  The Report Back event
is being held courtesy of Downtown Rideau BIA in partnership with the Ottawa
Little Theatre. Join us!

The 20,000 Homes campaign, led by the Canadian Alliance to End Homelessness,
is bringing together communities across the country to permanently house
20,000 of Canada’s most vulnerable homeless people by July 1, 2018.

 

The Alliance to End Homelessness Ottawa (ATEH) is a non-partisan,
provincially incorporated non-profit organization working in partnership to
inspire action, to generate knowledge and to inform a community-wide effort
to achieve an end to homelessness in Ottawa:

campaign is being convened by the Alliance to End Homelessness Ottawa in
partnership with local community, government and business partners.

 

 

Séance d’Information et mobilisation communautaire 

le 23 avril 2015

 

Après avoir compléter des sondages à 30 divers endroits autour d’Ottawa,
l’AMTI tiendra un événement pour partager les principaux résultats du
sondage 20,000 foyers. Dans ce cadre, l’AMTI lancera un appel pour mobiliser
la communauté en vue de trouver des logements permanents aux sans-abri les
plus vulnérables. L’événement est organisé en collaboration avec la ZAC
Downtown Rideau et l’Ottawa Little Theatre.

La Campagne 20 000 foyers, pilotée par l’Alliance canadienne pour mettre fin
à l’itinérance, est un mouvement national de collectivités qui œuvrent
ensemble afin de loger de façon permanente 20 000 des sans-abri les plus
vulnérables du Canada d’ici le 1er juillet 2018. 

 

L’Alliance pour mettre un terme à l’itinérance Ottawa (AMTI) est un
organisme sans but lucratif et non partisan dont le travail en partenariat
vise à inspirer l’action, à générer le savoir et à informer le public de
l’effort collectif pour mettre un terme à l’itinérance à Ottawa :

d’Ottawa est orchestrée par l’AMTI en partenariat avec la communauté locale,
