[homeles_ot-l] Ask Me Ottawa story: Backpacks for the Homeless

Hello,

The latest installment in the Ask Me Ottawa Campaign is here! We feature
Ron Pitre and the Backpacks for the Homeless initiative that is hoping to
fill 2,300 backpacks with the essentials and treats to distribute to
several shelters and day programs in Ottawa-Gatineau over Christmas.

Backpacks for the Homeless needs to raise $5,000 more in order to meet
their goal of filling 2,300 backpacks. There is a fundraising event
tomorrow evening, November 17th at Broadway Bar and Grill on Prince of
Wales Drive.
