organizations, and local researchers (including students)!* The Annual
Community Forum on Ending Homelessness, presented by the Alliance to End
Homelessness Ottawa, is looking for participants to lead a noon-hour Table
Talk on issues related to homelessness and affordable housing in our
community.

Interested table talk hosts are asked to contact Ofelia Levoir by email to
inquire about presenting. Ofelia is the Families First Coordinator at
PQCHC, and is a member of the Alliance Research Committee. Ofelia can be
reached at the following email address: ofelialevoir at gmail.com

*The deadline for submissions is Friday, November 4, 2015.*

*Program Highlights*

We’re building a program that continues the tradition of facilitating
dialogue among front-line service and leading research to improve Ottawa’s
response to homelessness. Components include:

   - A *keynote address* by Mary Beth Shinn (Vanderbilt Univerity): *Ending
   Family Homelessness: Insights from the US Family Options Study*
   - A *morning plenary panel* discussion recognizing that Home is more
   than a House - building community
   - *Lunchtime Table Talks*
   - Afternoon concurrent *research workshops* on

   Housing, Safety and Sex Work;

   A Way Home Ottawa (youth homelessness);

   Pathways to Homelessness among Veterans in Ottawa;

   Housing and support needs of LGBTQ adults;
   Family homelessness in Ottawa; Towards an Inclusionary Zoning framework
   for Ottawa; Improving Ottawa's rooming houses; and others
   - A *closing plenary panel*, reflecting on the federal government's
   directions for a National Housing Strategy: are Ottawa's needs being
