[homeles_ot-l] Event Reminder--Report Launch Tomorrow

Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of the Alliance to End Homelessness Ottawa, please join us in
celebrating our report launch, “Housing, Shelter, Safety: Needs of
Street-Level/Survival Sex-Workers in Ottawa.” The launch celebration will
take place Thursday, July 12 from 2-4 pm at the NESI Room (Somerset West
Community Health Centre). Snacks will be provided. All are welcome!

Made possible by the generosity of Crime Prevention Ottawa, this
community-based research project was produced in collaboration with many
organizations and individuals integral to the frontline service and housing
landscape in Ottawa. 29 women participated in the research, sharing their
personal stories in relation to safety, security, and housing in Ottawa. A
huge thank you to the peer researchers—Christine, Corinne, Jenn, and
Mika—who moved this project forward. We couldn’t have done it without you!
