WHAT:    Home Takeover 'Train the Trainer'
WHEN:   November 28th, 1 pm - 4 pm
 WHERE: Billings Room at City Hall (110 Laurier Avenue)
 WHO IS IT FOR:

  *   Staff within organizations who work with people who are particularly vulnerable to home takeovers (e.g.living with isolation, mental health issues, intellectual disabilities, physical disabilities, addictions, vulnerable seniors)
  *   Staff who are willing and able to train/share resources with their colleagues and clients on an ongoing basis.

 GOALS OF SESSION:
1.      Provide the resources that have been developed to support identifying, intervening and preventing Home Takeovers.
2.      Discuss most effective way to imbed Home Takeover resources  directly in organizations in order that resources can be accessed on an ongoing basis.
3.      Have a meaningful shared learning experience about a challenging, complex situation.

Ideally, it would be great to have 1 or 2 staff from a cross-section of service organizations.
