New Microprogram on Evaluation of Social and Health Programs and Policies at the University of Ottawa  (French follows)

The School of Psychology in collaboration with the Centre for Research on Educational and Community Services at the University of Ottawa is launching a new microprogram entitled “Evaluation of Social and Health Programs and Policies”.  The microprogram consists of two graduate courses, PSY 7103 (“Program Evaluation”) in the fall session and PSY 7102 (“Field Research in Social and Community Interventions”) in the winter session.

The courses  include a practice component in which students plan a program evaluation with a community organization in the first course and implement the evaluation in the second course.  Both courses will be offered in the evening from 5:30 – 8:30 PM to accommodate students who are working full-time.

Nouveau microprogramme sur l'évaluation des programmes à l'Université d'Ottawa

L'École de psychologie en collaboration avec le Centre de rechercher sur les services éducatifs et communautaires de l'Université d'Ottawa lance un nouveau microprogramme intitulé «Évaluation des programmes et politiques sociales et santé». Le microprogramme se compose de deux cours d'études supérieures, PSY 7503 («Évaluation de programme») à la session d'automne et PSY 7502 («Recherche appliquée aux interventions sociales et communautaires») à la session d'hiver.

Les cours comprennent une composante pratique dans laquelle les étudiants planifient une évaluation de programme avec un organisme communautaire dans le premier cours et mettent en œuvre l'évaluation dans le deuxième cours. Les deux cours seront offerts le soir de 17h30 à 20h30 pour accueillir les étudiants qui travaillent à temps plein.
