The Places to Warm Up in Ottawa interactive map we mentioned in the attached information on Cold Weather Resources 2022/23 is now available on the Ottawa Public Health Cold Weather website<https://www.ottawapublichealth.ca/en/public-health-topics/cold-weather-everyone.aspx>. This map identifies spaces that everyone is welcome to come to warm up. For information on other services and locations people with specific needs can get assistance, please:
* Call 2-1-1 for program information about and locations of drop in centres and shelters<https://www.champlainhealthline.ca/listservices.aspx?id=10721>, community and health resource centres<http://www.coalitionottawa.ca/>, food banks and community food programs<https://www.champlainhealthline.ca/listservices.aspx?id=10572>, winter clothing<https://www.champlainhealthline.ca/listservices.aspx?id=10725>, financial assistance with utilities<https://www.champlainhealthline.ca/listservices.aspx?id=10723> and a list of Out of the Cold programs<https://cneo-nceo.ca/info/publications-and-lists/>. This service is provided by Community Navigation of Eastern Ontario.
* Call 3-1-1 to get referred to the best available shelter, or to get assistance for someone who needs transportation to get out of the cold.?
