*UPCOMING EVENTS AND OFFERINGS *

*Collective Care Circle*

Soul Space is excited to extend an invitation to our upcoming* Collective
Care Circle courtesy of Recovery Care.* The two hour offering is
specifically designed for frontline street health & harm reduction
workers. Explore
different practices that may help to navigate challenging feelings related
to grief, loss, overwhelm, burnout and compassion fatigue. The event will
run *April 17th from 3-5pm at 253 Echo Drive.* We look forward to an
offering of Restorative Yoga with Barbara Young. As the founder of Pathway
Yoga, a not-for-profit organization, Barbara brings a wealth of experience
and a passion for fostering inner strength, peace, and friendship.

similar work based challenges.

*Online Meditation with True North Insight *

Join with others to nourish yourself in the supportive company of other
caregivers. Offered in English on Tuesdays from 7:30 to 8:30. To register
and receive the zoom link: coordinator at soulspaceottawa.ca. This offering is
appropriate for everyone, even if you have no meditation experience! The
intention of the session is to explore how mindfulness meditation can be a
support with the emotions that arise in the care-giver role, and when
living with grief. The session begins with guided meditation and ends with
an opportunity for sharing for those who wish to do so. You will be invited
to care for yourself in these sessions, including the posture that you
choose (sitting or lying down). The dharma offerings are chosen with
care-givers in mind and what might be beneficial in supporting those who
support others.

We look forward to creating some Soul Space alongside you.
