Dear BCMA members.

My name is Ron Bilinsky and I am the coordinator of the “Victoria Scout and
Guide Museum “ which is a BCMA member.

As part of my fundraising for Scouts, and as a certified Ham Radio
operator, (call sign VA7RTB), I have over the last several years collected
donated Amateur (Ham) Radio equipment and sold the items with all the money
going to Scouts.

Unfortunately, due the generosity of the Ham Radio community, I have found
myself with more Amateur Radio equipment than I can sell as many of the
items are older and out-dated, thus not worth much monetarily. They are
however of historical value.

These items include hand-held, mobile and base station radios, various
types of meters, QSL cards, and Morse Code Keys etc.etc. Brand names
include Heath, Heathkit, Drake, ICOM, MFJ, Hallicrafters, Yaesu, Kenwood
and more. All items are the size of a breadbox or smaller and easily
displayed on shelving in a dry, room temperature environment.

I am therefore looking to see if there is a museum that might be interested
in having these items, (I.e. about 2 dozen), donated for their collection
and display? My attempt to donated them to a few local museums in my area
have been unsuccessful, and I would hate to see these items simply disposed
of!

If interested, please contact me at:

Sincerely
Ron Bilinsky
