*** Nahanni Forever - Coming to Halifax, Nov. 29th! Call 902-446-4155 for tickets. ***
Join CPAWS and special guests for an evening celebrating the spectacular Nahanni watershed in Canada's Northwest Territories with dramatic images, music and fascinating insights that will inform and inspire. The tour starts November 7th in Toronto and winds up January19th in Calgary.
Special guests vary by city, and will include Dehcho First Nations Grand Chief Herb Norwegian, Justin Trudeau, internationally renowned scientists Derek Ford and David Schindler, comedian Cathy Jones, Juno-award winning singers Sarah Harmer, James Keelaghan, Connie Kaldor, and many more!
You'll also learn how you can help protect the entire South Nahanni Watershed (http://www.cpaws.org/action/nahanni.php) - a globally significant boreal wilderness that is threatened by proposed mining projects like the Prairie Creek Mine. And you'll hear the latest about CPAWS' conservation work in your own province or territory.
AND, by attending the event, you'll be eligible to WIN A TRIP FOR TWO down the South Nahanni River, courtesy of Nahanni River Adventures!
Don't miss your chance to experience the beauty and magic of this incredible boreal wilderness jewel and World Heritage Site.
