[Sust-mar] CBC hosts hit the road in Nova Scotia

Locked out CBC workers plan to travel to
Wolfville, Church Point, and Pubnico on Monday.
Hopefully Ophelia won't interfere! This

Hitting the Road [16-09-2005]

This coming Monday, September 19th, 2005...twenty
CBC/Radio-Canada locked out employees will tour
South Western Nova Scotia.

The "Locked-out Tour" stops at Acadia University
in Wolfville at 9:00 AM for a public rally.
Members of the Faculty Association and Student
Union will be there to offer support. Then it's
off to Church Point for a gathering at
l'Université Sainte-Anne at 12:30. The tour
continues to Yarmouth where locked-out workers
will hand out information in front of City Hall
in Yarmouth at 3:30 PM. The last stop will be at
5:30 PM in Pubnico.

Those on the bus include Norma Lee MacLeod the
host of CBC television's Canada Now; Don Connolly
and Elizabeth Logan of CBC radio's Information
Morning; Costas Halavrezos, the host of Maritime
Noon and Carmen Klassen the voice of Mainstreet..

The bus is also packed with locked-out Radio
Canada personalities including Gregory Dubosc and
Cynthia Maillet the hosts of Le Réveil on
Radio-Canada's Première chaîne; Normand Bélanger
and Nathalie Bétoté Akwa hosts of "Les 400 coups.
Denis-Martin Chabot the national news reporters
for Radio-Canada TV is also travelling with us.

Come chat with your favorite CBC personality.
Come find out what you can do to end this
"lockout" and get us off the sidewalk and into
our studios.
