Project for a New Canadian University
   
  Canada's first university to be based on ecological and social justice principles, and accessible to all.  
   
  Join us in establishing the groundwork for the first campus of the New University Project (name to be decided at the 3rd foundational meeting Sept. 1-3 following the New U first short course).  
   
  New U First short course
  On August 27 to September 1 2006, the New University Project is proud to offer its first short-course post-secondary level program. Entitled “A Living University: Sustainability Assessment”, this week-long program provides the foundations for a new form of post-secondary education in Canada, where various aspects of creating the first physical campus will be explored from green building technology, to water systems (site is located on the Riviere Rouge), indigenous perspectives, permaculture, etc...
