The North End Community Gardening Association (NECGA) is giving a public
lecture on plant breeding for gardeners on Tuesday, January 31, 2006 from
7-9 PM in the auditorium of the Nova Scotia Museum of Natural History (1747
Summer Street, Halifax).

This talk will outline the importance of developing new plant varieties and
the role that communities can play in protecting biodiversity. Whether you’
re an experienced grower or just starting out, find out why plant breeding
can be such a rewarding experience!
