Green Dragon Organic Farm is a small bio-dynamically 
oriented family farm specializing in venison, Shiitake 
mushrooms, mixed vegetables and salad greens. We keep 
a few goats and chickens and so on for our own supply.

Our market garden is small, yet worked intensively. It 
includes a few greenhouses, especially to over winter crops. 
Our produce supplies local markets, restaurants and private 
households between March and Christmas. We are 
planning to start a CSA.

We live simple, busy, but, as we believe, mostly good 
humored.

What we offer:

A chance to participate in daily life of a small-scale farm 
operation. You will learn different aspects and details of 
livestock handling, gardening, and processing of produce, 
construction, and a lot of things that don't have a name.

We like to incorporate everybody on the farm (in average 
anywhere between 2-6 people) into our household and we 
consider shared meals, ideas and work as an important part 
of that.

We eat simple but very well: delicious and only home 
made (and, of course, mostly home grown: meat, cheese 
and milk included). Mama rules the kitchen. If you wish 
to contribute, that's great.

We provide a small private room for a single or a couple. 
Our farmhouse is about 160 years old, rustic and with a 
charm.

No stipend or salary paid. Room and Board.

A nearby (4km) Shambhala Meditation Center provides 
the opportunity to learn and/or practice meditation for 
everybody interested.

What we would like to find:

An individual or couple, who is energetic, motivated to 
work, reliable in his/her doings, and understands and enjoys 
that farm life is a little different.

We prefer long-term stays, but can sometimes also make 
space for shorter arrangements.

This years work schedule includes a few construction 
projects. Basic carpentry interest would be great.
