The Tatamagouche Model of Education, Design and Leadership: Level I

August 12-17; Tatamagouche Centre

Gain effective leadership skills for transformation with this tried-and-true training at Tatamagouche Centre. Learn how to identify opportunities, develop programs or action plans, and carry them through in ways that are effective, vibrant and relevant. Through in-depth practice, discussion, and reflection the program applies participatory educational methods, allowing participants to rediscover a love of learning and providing tools to encourage others to do the same - leading to transformation and effective action. Designed for both experienced and novice facilitators; both grassroots and organization-based activists. Participants will learn and practice a methodology developed by the Tatamagouche Centre over the past 30 years. Leadership: Paula Gallant and Tessa Mendel are members of the Tatamagouche Centre Program Resource Group.

Cost: $645 (includes tuition, manual, meals, accommodations)

Note: Level II will be offered in October at Tatamagouche Centre)
