[Sust-mar] seeking nominations for SCC-ACC Awards

The Atlantic Chapter of the Sierra Club of Canada (SCC-ACC) is seeking
nominations for the Rudy Haase and Bruno awards. These awards are offered to
Atlantic Canadians who have made great contributions towards promoting and
protecting our environment through grassroots activism, public education or
successful lobbying.


The Rudy Haase award recognizes outstanding conservation achievement and
exemplifies the principles, values and effectiveness of Martin Rudy Haase.
      

The Bruno award recognizes committed environmentalism; a demonstration of
tenacity and diligence in the face of opposition and controversy.


Please forward a brief narrative (less than 100 words) with your nominations
to the Sierra Club no later than June 4th, 2007. Awards will be presented at
the SCC-ACC, AGA held in Prince Edward Island, June 22-24, 2007
