Clean Nova Scotia's Minister's Business Breakfast

Clean Nova Scotia would like to invite you and your colleagues to attend
our Minister's Business Breakfast on October 18th with the Honourable
Minister of Environment and Labour, Mark Parent. 

 

Join us for a delicious plated breakfast (vegetarian option available)
at the Holiday Inn Harbourview, in Dartmouth, while taking in some new
environmental ideas in celebration of Waste Reduction Week

Clean Nova Scotia is delighted to welcome guest speaker Liz Crocker to
give her thoughts on 'green' entrepreneurship.  Liz is a business owner
and founder, teacher, innovator, author, artist and environmentalist.
She is well known for founding P'Lovers, the environmental department
store and Woozles, the oldest children's book store in North America.
Liz's commitment to issues of sustainable development finds expression
in her current role as a member of the Boards of the Natural Step
Canada, and GPI Atlantic, and her former role as a board member of the
Nova Scotia Nature Trust, Sierra Legal Defence Fund and the Ecology
Action Centre. Liz also served on the National Round Table on the
Environment and the Economy and was the Chair of its Education
Committee.

 

The Minister's Business Breakfast - October 18th, 2007 

 

Location: Holiday Inn Harbourview, 101 Wyse Road, Dartmouth

Time: The Breakfast will start at 7:30am and finish at 9am. Doors will
open at 7am.

Tickets are only $20 and can be upgraded to $30 to include a Clean Nova
Scotia membership.
