Earth Hour is this coming Saturday, March 29th, from 8pm to 9pm.

Join the city of Halifax, and the world, in cutting back on unnecessary
electricity use this weekend.  Turn off your lights and appliances at 8pm!

The city of Halifax urges everyone to "turn off their lights for an hour
on March 29th at 8:00 pm local time - whether at home or at work, with
friends and family or solo.
