POSTPONED!!
 
Due to the rain forecast for Sunday June 1, 
the McNabs Island Cleanup will be postponed until SATURDAY JUNE 7 (raindate 
Sunday June 8).
 




PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT
 
McNabs and Lawlor Islands Beach 
Cleanup
 
(May 31, 2008): Joining the Friends of McNabs 
Island 
Society for the annual cleanup of McNabs and Lawlor Islands 
Provincial Park.
 
RESCHEDULED TO: 
Saturday, June 7 2008 (Raindate Sunday 
June 8) 
 
Time: 10 AM - 3:30 PM
 
Location: Meet at Murphy’s on the Water, Cable 
Wharf, Halifax Waterfront 
before 10 a.m. Space on the boat is limited and 
available on First Come, First Served 
basis. 
 
(Note: If you want to travel to the island from 
Eastern Passage, contact Mike Tilley at 465-4563)

Bring work gloves, drinking water, a lunch and 
ENTHUSIASM. We will supply the 
garbage bags and FREE transportation to the 
island for volunteers willing to clean up 
the beaches. Groups of more than 
ten persons must pre-register with the Friends of 
McNabs Island by calling
