The Institute for Bioregional Studies Ltd. (IBS),
invites you to join our Tuesday Night Social Forums; 114 Upper Prince
Street. Each event begins at 7:00 p.m. and includes a presentation
followed by informal discussion. There is no fee however, participants
are asked to bring something for potluck supper to share during the
discussion. The intent is to build a community action network by
sharing ideas and informing each other about issues affecting our
future.

Distorted Morality ; Wednesday June 4, 2008 (Note Date Change)

The evening begins with a DVD presentation in which Noam Chomsky presents a scathing, yet fair and logical thesis of why America’s post 9/11 war on terror is a logical impossibility.

Noam Chomsky is a renowned scholar, political and social analyst. He is often cited as one of the 10 most quoted sources in the humanities.  He presents his reasoning with astonishing and refreshing clarity, drawing from a wealth of historical knowledge and analysis. Anyone who is serious about trying to understand world events since September 11th cannot afford to miss this.
