[Sust-mar] CUSO-VSO fundraiser and information session

Hello all Sustainable Maritimes members,

You're invited to a CUSO-VSO fundraiser and information session on
Sunday, October 26th in Frederiction!!

CUSO-VSO is a social justice group which sends volunteers overseas to work
with partner organizations. Information about CUSO-VSO can be found at

CUSO-VSO currently has a fundraising Campaign going called "Dance for the
World" which is in support of CUSO and VSO Canada's Volunteer Partnership
Fund. This is an annual pool of funds to which CUSO-VSO volunteers can make
applications to support projects and activities that directly support the
partners with whom they work.  Dance for the World events will be in
Charlottetown on November 14th and Halifax on November 15th. Before that,
however, on October 26th from 2-4pm, there will be a fundraiser in
Fredericton to support our CUSO-VSO friends and raise some money for the
Volunteer Partnership Fund. Check www.dancefortheworld.ca <

*The event will be held at 110 Oxford St. (off York St) from 2-4pm on Sunday
October 26th* and will be an afternoon of finger foods, music, crafts and
information. We're asking for a *minimun $5 or 10 donation* ($10 for waged
and $5 for non-waged).
This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in international
development/cooperancy. There will be speakers from CUSO-VSO to answer
questions as well.
