May 27: Painting Fredericton Green. Join others in Fredericton wanting to
take action together in making the city a greener, healthier, and more

May 29: Some Trees by Francis Wishart. Join the opening celebrations of
forest defender Francis Wishart's monotypes. 5:00 to 7:00 pm, Friday, May
29 at Gallery 78, 769 Queen St. Not able to attend the opening? Francis
Wishart's art will be on exhibit from May 29 to June 21 at Gallery 78.
CANADIAN ENVIRONMENT WEEK
June 1 - Forbidden Forest. A tale of corporate greed, lax government
oversight and people passionate about the places they love - the forests of
New Brunswick. Join us for a special film screening with the filmmaker &
stars. Monday, June 1 at 7:00 pm at Conserver House, 180 St. John St.
June 3 - Don't want New Brunswick to be a nuclear province? Share your
opinions at a nuclear info session by the Nuclear Waste Management
Organization at Crowne Plaza from 2:00 - 9:00 pm on Wednesday, June 3.
June 4 - A Sense of Wonder. A film about pioneering environmentalist Rachel
Carson and her love for the natural world and her fight to defend it. A
film screening by Green Matters. Thursday, June 4 at 7:00 pm at Charlotte
St. Arts Centre, 732 Charlotte St.
June 6 - A walk in the woods. Interpretative walk in Odell Park at 2:00pm
with the Conservation Council's forest ecologist Megan de Graaf. Meet at
the Odell Park Lodge. Rain date: Sunday, June 7. Same time.
June 8 - End of the Line. The Fredericton premiere of End of the Line. Join
us on World Ocean's Day to watch a film about the devastating effects of
overfishing. Discussion following the film with Greenpeace Canada and the
Fundy Baykeeper. Monday, June 8 at 7 pm at Conserver House, 180 St. John St.
