Support a struggling community in South Africa by having a blast at...
Chocolatada - Friday, October 30th @ the North Street Church (corner of Fuller Terrace)
Dress up and dance to live music! Enjoy raw chocolate goodies & beverages, and superfood snacks.
All-ages celebration from 6 - 9 pm, featuring....The Wilderbeats, a Magic Show, and Jabulani (African dance with live drumming by Mas Cencerro. Bring a drum for the jam circle!)

Then, from 9pm - 12am, performances by....
Kojo (Sudanese thumb piano ensemble)
Zulkamoon & Chak (formerly Robalo Latino)
King Seku and Upright crew

$10 @ Door
$4 for kids (suggested donation)

Proceeds go towards the Themba Development Project Association, a volunteer operated registered charity founded by Halifax's Catherine Robar. Proceeds will be invested into the community of Thembalethu, South Africa to assist with food, education and agriculture resources.

Check out the sale table with jewellery, photography, cd's, and hand crafted Xhosa tribal creations. All proceeds of the sale table are donated to The Themba Development Project. Cash and Checks accepted.
