Call for Videos 
 
The SAR Stewardship Workshop will have a video session during the evening of Friday, February 25th, 2010.  All workshop participants and interested individuals are invited to bring or submit a video for the session.  This will provide a great opportunity to showcase your work in species at risk stewardship and recovery.  If you are a workshop participant and would like to show your video, please email nicolle at coastalaction.org, stating you are bringing video to the workshop.  If you are unable to attend the workshop, you are still encouraged to submit a video.  Your video could be given to a participant to bring to the workshop, or could be mailed to:  Bluenose Coastal Action Foundation, PO Box 10, 493 Main Street, Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia  B0J 2E0.  
 
Call for Abstracts - Reminder  
 
Authors are invited to submit abstracts for oral and poster presentations which address workshop themes (Habitat Stewardship Program for Species at Risk, Volunteer Stewardship:  Challenges, Successes & Key Practices, and Enhancing Collaborations among Stakeholders).  Please state which style of presentation is preferred.  Oral presentations will be 15 minutes in length with 5 minutes of questioning.   Authors must submit an abstract of no more than 350 words which concisely outlines the subject matter of their oral or poster presentation.  The deadline for abstract submission is January 15, 2010.  Please email abstracts to nicolle at coastalaction.org and ensure the phrase “Abstract Submission” is in the subject line of the email.
